General Manager
The Steinbach MCC Community Assistance Centre (SMCCCAC) is a non-profit Christian resource that operates both the Steinbach MCC Thrift Shop and Ten Thousand Villages. Its mission is to be a resource for responding to basic human needs by supporting the relief and development programs of Mennonite Central Committee through the sale of donated materials and hand-crafted products from developing countries around the world.
The position of General Manager is a senior leadership and management position reporting to the Board of Directors with responsibility for managing the operation of the MCC Thrift Shop and providing management support and oversight to the operation of Ten Thousand Villages, including, promoting and providing oversight to the volunteer program, building relationships with local churches and community organizations, and growing the sales revenue of the Thrift shop. The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to the mission and purpose of SMCCCAC and be highly motivated to recruit and nurture volunteers.
