Thrift on Woodlawn accepts donations of clean and useful items that are in good working condition!

Gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and shoes
  • Clothing accessories: hats, gloves, scarves, ties

  • Personal accessories: wallets,  purses, backpacks, bags, jewelry

Household Items
  • Home Decor: vases, candles, pictures/frames, baskets, ornaments, Craft items, seasonal decorations

  • Antiques and collectables

  • Kitchen: pots, pans, utensils, china, mugs, dishes, cutlery, glassware, silverware, stemware​
  • Linens: Bed/bath towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, curtains, tablecloths

  • Electrical items: small kitchen appliances, radios, power tools, irons, stereos, CD players, speakers, DVD and VCR players, table lamps, floor lamps, humidifiers, hand tools

  • Exercise & outdoor: bicycles, golf accessories, garden tools, sports equipment,

  • Kids: toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals

  • Media: hardback and paperback books, magazines, records, tapes, CDs, videos, DVDs

  • Furniture with prior approval: Furniture must be clean and without odors.  Due to limited space, shop management will be selective in accepting donated furniture. Sofas, couches, loveseats, recliners, foot stools, chairs Tables: dining, kitchen, coffee, end, computer, nightstands, patio Storage dressers, hutch, armoire, bookcase, cabinets

Note: This list may be changed and/or modified as needed to accommodate business needs.

Items Not accepted:
  • Automobile parts

  • Beds & bedding parts

  • Construction materials: lumber, pipes, floors, tubs, carpet, doors, windows, etc.

  • Damaged Furniture: smelly, torn, soiled or in need of repair

  • Flammable products: any items that operate on or contain fuel including: gas cans, propane cylinders, barbecues, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, camp stoves, tiki torches, etc.

  • Hazardous materials: batteries, paints, chemicals, cleaning products, poisons, any liquids, etc.

  • Infant products: car seats, cribs and related products

  • Large appliances: refrigerators, dishwashers, furnaces, stoves, washing machines, etc.

  • Large televisions in cabinets, CRT “tube” televisions and monitors. Note: we do accept working LCD, LED or plasma flat screens.

  • Weapons

  • Firearms, explosives, ammunition, flares, etc.

  • Food

  • Animals

COVID-19 Hours Update

Many of our MCC Thrift shops in the U.S. are open and we anticipate more opening in the weeks and months to come. However due to the global pandemic and the ever-changing protocols across counties and states, many shops have limited hours for both shopping and donating.
